The extraction unit stays outside
BubblePro uses a truck-mounted system, with the extraction unit remaining in the vehicle and hoses running to the cleaning wand indoors. The wand is used across the carpet to flush loosened soil and recover moisture. You do not need to picture a portable extraction machine being wheeled from room to room.
For an Auckland booking, describe parking, distance from the vehicle to the rooms, stairs and any shared access. These are practical details to discuss before the visit. If your building has access restrictions, mention them early so arrangements can be assessed.
CRB brushing prepares the fibres for extraction
CRB means Counter-Rotating Brush. Two cylindrical brushes turn in opposite directions to agitate the pile before extraction. Equipment maker Mytee describes this preparatory role; the brushing step does not replace hot-water extraction. Brush and treatment choices need to suit the carpet.
BubblePro’s Premium process uses CRB brushing after pre-treatment and targeted spot work. It helps loosen embedded soil, debris and pet hair and distribute the pre-treatment. The original illustration above explains the idea using a generic machine; it is not a photograph of a particular make or a customer result.
How the full Premium process fits together
The sequence starts with assessment, not with the machine. We inspect the carpet and concerns, using UV light when required, then pre-vacuum with a HEPA-filtered upright vacuum. Pre-treatment and deodorising come before targeted spot and stain treatment.
Next comes the CRB brushing stage, followed by truck-mounted hot-water extraction and a final inspection. The steps are selected and discussed in relation to the carpet’s fibre and condition. Tell us about previous treatments and specific concerns at the first inspection.
- Pre-inspection, with UV light if required
- HEPA pre-vacuum
- Pre-treatment and deodorising
- Targeted spot and stain treatment
- CRB deep-fibre brushing
- Truck-mounted hot-water extraction
- Post-clean inspection
Silver or Premium: ask about the scope
Silver is BubblePro’s maintenance-clean option. Premium is the deeper-clean option with CRB brushing. Ask which suits your carpet and clarify the targeted work included, rather than choosing only by the package name.
Supply the rooms, approximate areas, stairs and main concerns when requesting a quote. The price and scope need to be confirmed for your property. A photograph of another job does not establish the treatment your carpet needs, and a package name is not a promise that every stain can be removed.
Water recovery and drying are related, but different
Recovering moisture during extraction helps the drying process. The remaining drying time still depends on the fibre, weather and ventilation, so there is no single timing to assume for every Auckland home. Ask when the room can be used and when furniture can be returned.
Keep a note of the areas discussed during the inspection and check them again with the technician afterwards. If a particular mark or odour was your reason for booking, include that concern in the final conversation as well as judging the overall appearance.
